2. Data protection officer
There is no legal obligation to appoint a data protection officer for our operation (§ 38 BDSG: only required from 20 persons constantly engaged in processing personal data). For all data protection questions, please contact the controller named above directly.
3. General notes
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. Personal data is collected only to the extent necessary to answer your inquiry (principle of data minimisation, Art. 5 (1)(c) GDPR). Sharing with third parties occurs only in the cases described below.
This website is used exclusively to present our dogs Amadeus and Mila. There is no sales, no online contract conclusion and no payment processing; accordingly no contract or payment data is collected.
4. Provision of the website (server log files)
When you access our website, our hosting provider automatically collects the following information transmitted by your browser:
- IP address
- Date and time of the request
- Requested resource (URL)
- HTTP status code
- Amount of data transmitted
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referrer URL
In addition, the website records reach events (page view, scroll depth, visible reading time, page-leave) via server-side 1×1-pixel beacons (/t/spacer-*.gif). These events are linked via a random, session-local identifier in the browser’s sessionStorage, which is discarded automatically at the latest when the browser tab is closed. The data does not leave our server. Retention and anonymisation as below.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Legitimate interest in a technically error-free provision of the website, in IT security (detection and defence against attacks) and in the creation of anonymised visitor statistics from server log files.
Retention: Personal log data (in particular the IP address) is automatically anonymised after 14 days; the remaining anonymous log records are deleted in full after a maximum of 90 days. This data is not merged with other data sources.

Data processing takes place exclusively on servers within the European Union; no transmission to third countries occurs in the context of hosting. A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

6. Cookies, local storage, tracking (§ 25 TDDDG)
This website uses no cookies and no comparable storage technologies on visitors’ end devices for advertising purposes. Specifically NOT in use:
- cookies
- LocalStorage
- other storage or access technologies for recognition
Consent under § 25 (1) TDDDG is therefore not required, no cookie banner is necessary. The first-party reach measurement described in § 4 is based on legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR and uses exclusively a short-lived session identifier discarded with the browser tab. There is also no transmission to third parties for marketing or audience-analysis purposes.
7. Contact via contact form, email or phone
Contact form at /contact/: when you click »Send«, your entries are assembled into a mailto: URL exclusively on your end device via local JavaScript code and handed off to your local email program. The form data is at no point collected or processed on our server; the content reaches us only after you have sent the prepared email from your own program.
Email / phone: if you reach us directly via email or phone, your information (name, contact details, voluntary information about your life situation, request) is collected to handle your inquiry and any follow-up questions.
Emails to our address are transmitted unencrypted in principle, unless you use end-to-end encryption (e.g. PGP/S-MIME).
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering your inquiry). To the extent that your inquiry aims at initiating a contract (e.g. a get-to-know appointment), additionally Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR.
Retention: Inquiries are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for answering, at the latest however after 6 months — unless a statutory retention obligation applies.
8. Recipients of personal data
Your data is shared only with the following recipients and only to the extent necessary to fulfil the respective task:
- Hosting provider (see section 5) — processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Transmission to third countries outside the EU/EEA does not take place.
Use of Linktree
We use the Linktree service to provide visitors with a central overview of our online presences and offerings. When the Linktree page is accessed, the provider may process technical data such as IP address, browser information, and usage data.

Use is based on our legitimate interest in providing our online offerings in a user-friendly manner pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
9. Your rights as a data subject
You have the following rights regarding the personal data concerning you:
- Information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Correction of incorrect or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Deletion („right to be forgotten", Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing based on Art. 6 (1)(e) or (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
You can exercise all rights informally via the contact details given in the imprint. You incur no disadvantages from exercising your rights.
10. Right of complaint to the supervisory authority
Without prejudice to other legal remedies, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), particularly in the member state of your place of residence, workplace or the place of the suspected infringement.
